Aġenzija Sapport requires the service of full-time Support Executives within the Personal Budget Assistance Team (PBAT) on an indefinite contract basis. The starting basic salary for the current year is €25,126 per annum with annual increments. Selected candidates with experience in the field or higher qualifications would also be eligible for pegging at a higher salary grade (as per details presented in the requisites’ section).
Objectives of the Role
The Support Executive within the PBAT Team will be an integral link between the service user and/or his/her family members making use of the ICL Fund.
The primary responsibilities of a Support Executive within the PBAT Team include, but are not limited to the following:
- Conducting comprehensive and holistic assessments of individual cases and current circumstances.
- Preparing and presenting detailed case reports to the board for review and decision-making.
- Providing guidance and support to families in accurately completing claim documentation.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity of collaborating within a team, whilst working on his/her own caseload.

Requisites
Eligible candidates shall possess a relevant degree at MQF Level 6 (180-240 ECTS) or higher. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to communicate in both Maltese and English, as well as those who have followed psychology credits, to the benefit of the service users. The starting annual basic salary for candidates placed on Grade D for the current year is €25,126 with annual increments.
Candidates who are in their final year of studies will still be considered provided that they submit evidence that they have been approved for the award of the qualifications in question, or successfully completed the necessary ECTS credits or equivalent, taken as part of a recognised MQF level programme of study, as required in the aforementioned eligibility criteria or higher, by the end of the current year. Such candidates will be offered a junior position until the official qualification is obtained.
Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 6, in addition to three (3) years’ relevant experience* in the social field will be placed on Grade C (with a basic salary of €28,314 per annum). Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 7, in addition to two (2) years’ experience* in the social field will also be placed on Grade C. The starting annual salary for 2025 in Grade C is that of €28,314 with annual increments.
Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 6, in addition to eight (8) years’ experience* in the social field will be placed on Grade B (with a basic salary of €31,245 per annum). Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 7, in addition to six (6) years’ experience* in the social field will also be placed on Grade B. The starting annual salary for 2025 in Grade B is that of €31,245 with annual increments.
*Only professional experience will be considered: that is, consideration will only be given to work experience in the respective professional roles effective from the date when the candidate has achieved his/her MQF Level 6 or MQF Level 7 full qualifications (whichever comes first).
